Worst experience ever! The service was terrible, the staff didn't know the prices on the items that was not written in the menu and the prices was the same as on a fine dining. To pay 9,50 dollars for a Blue Moon beer is a joke. And to charge you 6 dollars for tapwater is lower then scams on the street outside. The food was plain, no taste, small portions and overpriced! First and last time on this place! Go to the other side of the street and you will be much more happy...
I waited 1 hour and a half for a small portion of spaghetti... I don't recommend this place
The sea food linguini had no seafood at all. The staff did not seem to care and didnt try to correct it.
We ate outstanding pasta dish and the tiramisu was to die for !! Great service and very fair prices!! Don’t miss this restaurant when in south beach !!
Great customer service. Requested a drink I fell in love with in italy! They didn't have all the ingredients, but made something quite simular. Happy girl!
Nice athmosfere, romantic and good food
Great location. Overpriced. Service wasn't the greatest. 2 house glasses of wine, 2 not so impressive pasta entrees, $150...
Terrible experience! Had about 30 minutes to kill so we stopped here to get an appetizer to kill time. Ordered bruschetta, took almost 40 minutes to receive our order, and it only had 3 small pieces! In addition to the slow service and small portions our bill was $35! They charged us for our water, and a cover charge of $12, $4 per person, including our 4 year old daughter.
The place was great and our server Mario was extremely attentive.
A year ago I gave this place five stars. It was so good I didn't want to share. We were there last week and what a disaster. They changed chefs. Food is sub-par now. The service was slow. It took 45 mins for our appetizer to come out. Management is clueless about the customers. Other tables around us were unhappy with the food and service as well. Too bad. We loved the place.
Service was great. Nice environment and great wine selection. Owner seemed like a nice guy. Food was terrible, and I'm Italian. The chef is Italian as well, but you wouldn't know it by eating his terrible food. For what we got we overpaid big time, never again will I waste my time and money in this place unless I am there to just have a glass of wine. I had the Carbonara, no good, tasted like something may have burnt in the pan? My girlfriend had the Butternut Risotto, flavor was good, but the first bite contained a large uncooked piece of Risotto that nearly chipped her tooth. Don't go here, a cheap pizza place down the street is most likely better.
Absolutely disgusting! Horrible service, no one was there! Bathroom disgusting, pasta was hard and appetizers were cold and gross! Overpriced! If you mess up kids French fries then you need to go back to culinary school
Food was pricey but delicious
Horrible all around! The guy at the front works his magic to talk you in. Food was Ok, but very small portions, especially for an Italian restaurant. We left hungry. You are asked if you would like sparkling OR still water. My wife had sparkling and I had still. We were charged $8 per bottle, so $16 in water! I argued and only one water was taken off the bill. Ask for tap, don't fall for the trap! I also had a coke. It is written on the menu like any other soft drink, making you think it would be $2.50 and free refills. $5.89 for a size smaller than a standard can and that's it. They also added in an 18% tip, when the service was not at that level. So $60 later, we left hungry and over charged for water and coke. So many restaurants here, pick something else. Very disappointed in the way we were charged, nothing said up front, it will just be on the bill later.
Do not eat here if you're a tourist. The pasta is just kind of a lukewarm blob. Lobster ravioli probably contained .01% actual lobster. And even though the price on the menu says $24, when they bring you the check it will say $28. Plus another 18% gratuity. Tried to send it back but our server just ignored us. Paid for our drinks and walked out. Yuck!
Slow and very bad service! Our dinner took 50 min to be ready and the portion was way too small! Dont recommend it! Dont come!
We had a table full of food and it was all tasty and comforting as Italian should be. Try the Scavi Ray prosecco. It's quite nice. Will be back!
A very good Italian restaurant with friendly and skilled staff. Delicious wines, very good value for money.
Excellent food and service. Great romantic place!
Horrible service and food. We went in for an appetizer and the waiter was unapologetically rude about it. He actually said “excuse me” when we asked for more water then refused to bring it. For $19 total, they brought out 3 very tiny bruschettas that were actually worse than Stacy’s Chips with salsa from the grocery store. The bathroom was filthy with a clogged toilet and the entire staff was fawning over the owner who was dining outside taking selfies with his Entourage. Watching his table practically worship him was as hard to swallow as the bruschetta, as it was occurring steps away from the contrasting service we were receiving.
Worst place ever! Got lured in by the guy outside, by stating the chef was Italian so we gave it a try. Long story short, worst place I have EVER been at. Wine glasses filthy, service was unprofessional and pretty much non existing and the food was a joke! Besides that the chef can’t be Italian, the chef was most certainly no chef at all or had had any culinary experience. Puttanesca was not edible, the tiramisu a tiny dry defrosted chocolate muffin. I could go on. This dining experience will definitely not be forgotten cause all I thought was where’s the hidden camera! That can’t be real.
We just had dinner there and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the service fast with very attentive servers. The Caprese salad, homemade pasta and creme Brule were phenomenal! The atmosphere very European. Loved it!
Excellent little restaurant with fun sidewalk dining. Very personable staff and food was wonderful.
Everyone there is a new employee - even the chef (as the waiter said), 3 times we were asked what kind of salad we ordered and they forgot the shrimp. We waited 40min for the salad which was terrible, we paid $20 for a salad with a lot o spinach and litteraly no vegetables and very small portion. Don’t go there if you’re hungry. The tip (18%) is included in the bill and we didn’t paid it because of the poor service!
Really nice place, good food and good people!
The place is pretty and the food tasted good. Thats the only two things that are good and that's why they get two stars. To start off service was pretty bad specially compare to all the other restaurants in Miami beach where they treat you so well and service is quick. They kept forgetting the food we asked for and taking sooo long to get anything. The portions are so small we were all still hungry. We were offered 20% off and the price was still outrageous. And some crazy $1 cover charge. Nope, save your money time and frustration. Go anywhere else, so many other options.
Horrible food and even worse service! Don’t waste your time and money!
Wonderful! Not a tourist trap. Quality organic food. Great wine list. Love this place!
Very slow service, had to ask three times just to get water after being seated. Food was OK, but nothing great.
Horrible service took an hour and a half just to get pasta, they mixed up all of our orders and got about1/4 of them right. They forgot about half of our orders and the waiters didn't even speak English. They didn't write down the orders and had horrible memorization. If there was zero stars I would put it! DO NOT EAT HERE, I deeply recommend you.
awful! Very small portions, not quality dishes for the price that you pay...wine is totally garbage... i do not recomend dining here!
If I could I'd give zero stars... Just got back from there with my family and we spend a lot of money for a awful dinner, two of us couldn't even eat the pasta, the service is very slow, the girl was nice but seemed like she was the only one working there. 2 of our orders came wrong, and no one came to check on us or looked at us, we didn't eat. The other 2 meals were more "eatible". The beer was warm. The pastas were super dry and weren't cooked right, also they were smelling funny. We saw 2 other tables giving their food back because it was wrong. I feel bad for the waitress..
Great place, great food and good service, I couldn't ask for more
Good food, but the drinks were way to expensive. 6 bucks for 230ml of soda? (that is less then a avarage soda can)
The quality of the pasta is excellent, and that is the reason why we go there first every time we are in Miami Beach. Even more important for us is the "Italian Style" of the service, is not the fastest , but for that I will go to a fast food. Is human , simple, and dedicated to the quality. If you want to get drunk is not your place. If you want to test a excellent glass of wine that will underline your meal Piccola Cucina is right restaurant
Aftwr waiting 45min for a salad I had to leave because they were still unsure when it could be ready... a trap for tourist in my opinion.
Nothing about this place was good. The service was non existent, bad food, expensive. I even had to chase someone for my check.
Overpriced, the menu price is not the price they want you to pay, my meal was 3 dollars more than the menu price, the meal was basic and ok but not worth the price, the service was bad and was hoping for a refill on my water which never happened. I will not be going back
service was so bad tonight, waited over an hour for food, we asked for the check and to cancel the order.....15 min later they try to bring the food anyway which we sent back. New management and new chef need to learn how to run a restaurant, I never have wanted to walk out on a check until tonight, plenty of other great restaurants on Espanola Way do not waste your time unless you have 3 hours for dinner!
Authentic Italian. Delicious food and great service, cute and cosy environment.
Worst place ever!!! Food tastes like garbage!!!Drinks are disgusting!!! Menu prices are different from the display, like 5-6 $ more. We were waiting for the drinks for 25 min and it was 11pm on Monday, there was only 2 more tables sitting and guess what? Mojitos tasted like it was some cheap rum inside and served in a tiny glasses. When food arrived it was different from what we ordered. Salmon was too salty , white color and steak looked like pork with the fat strips in the middle. Instead of sautéed spinach which goes with salmon they put mixed greens.Totally waste of money and time!!!
Comfort food in a nice ambience. Servers and manager very friendly. Cozy place!
We were here for appetizers and drinks. very delicious. very friendly service . We'll be back for the flamenco dance later... Highly Recommended.
Don't go! Just came back from there. Terrible food, careless and slow service, overpriced. Reasonable environment and soundtrack, but...
I enjoyed the pasta. Service was not very good, but I feel like that seems to be the trend in Miami Beach.
Love this place. Food is excellent. Service is outstanding. Place is so good it can make an Irishman feel like an Italian
Nice restaurant people friendl’y and the food is very good
Dont go there! The rigatone carbonara was the worst i ever had, bacon hard to find and it was very salty! I even sent the food back but second time it was not good either. What kind of chef can screw up such a simple dish? And it was way too expensive too!
Food is good but super slow service.....
Amazing food. A bit expensive but would go back as the food was nice. Salmon and garlic spinach was to die for.
